Meet the Bloggers:

Brianna Bennett lives and works in Los Angeles CA.  She’s been a busy Maid of Honor lately, helping both her sister and her best friend plan their upcoming weddings.  In her spare time she runs Yay Today – http://yay-today.blogspot.com/ – a shopping and gift idea blog that just launched this year.  When she’s not busy shopping, she spends a lot of time with her awesome boyfriend, their cat and their English Bulldog.

Just three years ago, Tracy Choy thought the rest of her life would be spent as a corporatetax accountant.  Who knew her love of throwing elaborate dinner parties would eventually lead her to the wedding industry.  When she’s not crunching numbers at the office, she’s busy as The Bride Concierge (Day of Coordinator Extraordinaire) and as one-half of the mother-daughter team BusyButtons (modern ring bearer pillows) via Etsy.com.

Mia Lampe is a newlywed living in LA and a lover of all things wedding!  She has a background in advertising as a media buyer and is currently following her passion, working in many different facets in the culinary and event industries.  As an avid blog reader and former bride-to-be herself, Mia will be providing insights and tips on how-to plan your perfect LA wedding!

Kristina Hayes opened Waltz Through Life five years ago after really seeing a need in Los Angeles for the bride and groom in search of learning to dance for their wedding. She realized after working in many big chain dance studios that they weren’t serving the wedding couple. Her desire is to give her clients a pressure (sales free!) environment where they can learn to dance with a deadline and emphasizes having the couple’s dance look as individual as possible and not like amateurs in a ballroom competition! Kristina and her company, Waltz Through Life were featured recently in Bride and Bloom magazine and she is currently working on a book based on her experiences teaching couples for their first dance. She’s found that rarely is it ever ONLY about the dancing and she’s learned more about relationships in the past five years than she ever imagined possible! Also, a comedienne and actress having appeared on many hit TV series (Reno 911, My Name Is Earl, King Of Queens- to name a few) Kristina likes to bring her personality and sense of humor to her teaching and her writing.

Jessica “Indy” Jean is a young screenwriter, obsessed with sushi, who has an affinity for felines (meow).  Indy is currently “Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russel-ing” it with her boyfriend of 7 years so she has never had her own wedding, but she has played the very demanding roles of maid of honor, and bridesmaid many a time. She loves modern weddings with vintage twists, sneakers with bridesmaid dresses, and wedding cake that doesn’t taste like styrafoam.

Wesley McMillan is a Maryland resident and current student at the University of Maryland.  He lives and breathes LA, and will become a resident at the conclusion of his undergraduate program in English and Communications.  His passions are in creative writing and film, and he will be providing an outlook on celebrity, wedding, and all things glamorous inbetween.
